Last January I posted a thread looking for help to prevent the future loss of the footpath to Alresford due to a potential breach in the seawall and the government managed retreat policy regarding sea defences. See Wivenhoelife post
Essex County Council do not see a problem but the situation has become more serious in the last year. A few more storms and a tidal surge could see this part of the seawall breached. Compare the 2022 photo with 2021

Not wishing to appear pedantic and please don't think this is of no concern to me but I think a truer comparison would be if the tide levels were the same in each picture. Good effort though and thanks for your concern and for bringing this ashore

Unfortunately people appear to be making temporary repairs to the breach this may cause more problems.

Have you tried speaking to Glyn Evans? This sounds like something he might be able to offer some guidance with.
